Parent-Teacher Communication
Parents are encouraged to speak with their child’s teacher daily about the activities of the day. Daily Sheets outlining your child’s day will be given to parents every day.
Parents will be given the opportunity twice a year for a parent-teacher conference. Progress Reports will also be completed by teachers and given to parents twice a year. Progress Reports include guidelines on early childhood development that is gathered from many professional recourses including; American Academy of Pediatrics, National Association for the Education of Young Children, and various child development publications.
The center has an "open door policy" for parents to visit their child while at daycare. Parents are welcome to volunteer in the classroom or on a field trip, or simply join us for a special story! Knowing you value your child's school will help them feel secure and make seperation easier.
Family Events
At The Creative Play Learning Center, we know a child’s family is the most important part of their life. Children are best understood in the context of family and culture, and we honor that strong bond. Throughout the year, the center provides families with many fun social events including:- Art Show and Ice Cream Social
- Mother’s Day and Father’s Day lunch
- Summer Carnival
- Halloween Party
- Dinner with Santa
